HI there. I hope someone can help. Here’s what I need to do.
I am building a Joomla web site and have a news slideshow module installed. I have this module linked to Joomla category/article. So every time I click on article in the slideshow, I see a Joomla article. What I want to do is to have a K2 style article when I click on article in the slideshow. How to integrate it?
I saw that we can sync Joomla articles with K2, but there is no direct link between both of them or I don’t know how do that.
If someone could explain how to solve this problem, I’d really appreciate that.

K2 items and J articles are two seprate things. The "Import Joomla Content" button will import all your j articles, sections if any, and categories. This is a one time thing (or you will get duplicates)

To do what your wanting you need a slideshow component or module that is K2 compatiable such as FrontPageSlideShow . There are others that support k2 items as well

Quick question. So I purchased this slideshow and it gives me an error. I understand that it might be something that you don't want to talk about as it doesn't relate directly to K2, but I hope you can still help.

Component gives me an error on the page that it's enabled.

The error is this: Undefined property: stdClass::$referenceAlias in C:\wamp\www...components\com_fpss\helpers\slideshow.php on line 392


Any ideas why?

When you installed it, did the demo work? I will try to load it on xampp tonight and see what it does, i think i have latest version. also there is a forum dedicated to it at joomlaworks.gr site
