K2 content module override was created by Makabra
Hi guys,

what I wanna do is to override k2 content module like a typical joomla module.

So I put it to HTML catalog in my joomla template directory but that seems not to work.

This method works perfect for any other joomla module I use.

I am using latest joomla and k2.

Anyone knows the reason why it does not work?

try creating a directory in yourtemplate/html called mod_k2_content
copy yoursite/modules/mod_k2_content/defaulkt directory into it
edit the default.php in the new directory

The path into you must copy the file "default.php" into your joomla template directory must be "unusually" like this //html/mod_k2_content/Default/

Share what you know, learn what you don't.

Thanks guys,

it turned out that my FTP client changed "Default" to lowercase "default" and that is why it didn't work. Thanks for marking that "Default" in RED:)
