I have created a category and item. Both are published and the item is selected as a feature. However, I cannot get it to show up on the home page. Am I forgetting to do something? I'm using Joomla 2.5.2 and a JA-T3 template

Is there something I'm supposed to activate so Joomla knows to display K2 content and not articles from the default component?

You will either have to change the Home Page menu to display as a k2 category type, or use mod_k2_content and place it in the home page with loadposition

Very good. Thank you!! :) I'll experiment with both. One last quick question. What is the purpose of the "Featured" option in an item if I can make it show up if its in a category or use loadposition?
