Hi all !

I use like 20 extrafields per category and they are all searchable with the module K2_Tools but I need to block some of them because there are not relevant at all and mess with the results.

Any ideas on how to block them to be searchable ?

So I found that by hacking the item.php model from K2 I can block some extradield to be saved in the extra_fields_search table of the item and so block them to be searchable. But now I want to create a plugin to have something more clean (not hacking the K2 core). Is there a hook or a way to work on the before saving items ?
