I recently started using K2, but at the moment all my new registered users are not assigned a group automatically. I changed the settings in the "Parameters" -> "Advanced" and selected that all registered users should be assigned to a specific group.

Any ideas how i may solve this problem?

I have the same problem with my K2 component. I'm working on my website with K2 at localhost. I've created two groups for testing - Registered and SU. The default one is Registered (set in K2 parameters. When I try to register new user I'm coming across mailing problem becuse of localhost etc. New user appears in the backend but it's not assigned to any of my groups.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Hello Jason,

You should use the K2 register form for your new users and make sure you have set an option for the
"Select the default K2 User Group for new registrations" option.
