Hi, i have a section in my website which is like a subhome.

I created a specific template for it and I want to list the items of another category.

I found nothing that seems to do something like that.

Assuming it doesn't exist. Should I change the core code to add this funcionality?

I created my getItemsByCategory method in the itemlist model. However, i'm not sure about how implement the view to bind that. Am I in the right way?

Try creating a menu item for the "subhome", pick k2 categories, and select the one you want, then assign the template you want to that menu item
