One thing that is making me hesitant to use K2 is that the permissions system seems to be less sophisticated than what is in core Joomla. Specifically, I would like to allow a group of users to edit and publish in some categories, but to only edit in others. I can see how to do that in core Joomla, but not K2.

Are there any plans to enhance the permissions system for K2? Or, is there some way to accomplish what I am trying to do that I am overlooking?
