New to K2, I would like to do the following:
1. Have an item where the URL contains a variable (i.e. 'newsclip=10'), and the variable in the URL is used to load SQL data stored in a table, and display it on that web page...
2. Have that URL accessible only by email hyperlink, not manually typed in (some type of hidden property, maybe that's not possible?)

Now, I've just started an hour ago, created a K2 item and category through Joomla!, I see them in the database, but cannot access any URL directly to display that item. I've added the K2 item linked to a Joomla Menu item just fine, but the URL includes the address of the Joomla menu item, not the K2 item directly. How can I access the K2 item URL directly, then finish question #s 1 and 2 above?
