Good afternoon you all.

First of all, I always enjoyed using K2 in my Joomla 1.75 plataform, but I must admit that now I am really disapointed with the errors that recently came when I changed my host and transfered my site.

My site is : titossauro.com

When one clicks on any submenu item in "articles" or "multimedia", instead of going straight to the K3 item page, an error screen appears with the message bellow:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/titossau/public_html/components/com_k2/helpers/route.php on line 59

I tryed changing permissions to 777, but that was not the solution.

May anyone help me?

I'm having the exact same problem.

I believe what is causing the problem is the "mb_internal_encoding" function not being enabled on your server.

I'm by no means a PHP expert, nor a server expert, but I am going to enable that function on my server, so hopefully that works.

I'll come back here and report if it does.

Goto the k2 dashboard, check the information tab.
You will likely find that mb_string is not enabled on your server.
Contact your host and have them turn it on
