I put up a Joomla site, installed K2 and am trying to allow users to add comments to posted articles but cannot see how to do that.

Can someone please let me know how? Thanks.

If you're using the out-of-the box K2 templates and styles, you can simply turn on commenting in the global parameters and make sure it's on at the category and item level and K2 will handle the rest.

I usually have trouble completely ridding myself of the K2 commenting system, so it's pretty robust.

There's also the option of entirely replacing K2 commenting with Disqus - something I do manually in the K2 template overrides. Disqus is generally preferable as its spam moderation is much better and not the honeypot that K2 commenting seems to be.

You should first create a "User Group" allowed to add comments: then put the User in that Group.
