K2 Items not showing in frontend

K2 Items not showing in frontend was created by KizakiHero
I was really surprised when I realised that K2 didn't show my articles in the frontend! I created an item and put it into a sub-category but it disappeared. I also tried to make a direct link in the menu to the article but i got 404 error. I can see it in the backend but not in the frontend :(
Here it is the website, the article had to be in Windows\Utility

I solved the problem :D
I had to activate both the Joomla cache system and the GK Cache System.

Oh nooo...
It's not working again!! When I modified an article it disappeared and now i can't publish anything, again :angry:
Anyway I just enabled the System - Cache plugin and another 3rd part plugin that is useful with GK templates.
Please help :(

I may be having this problem as well. To add confusion to the situation, I can see the page in category lists in the front end with information and images from the page yet when I go to the page itself I get the 404.
The 404 also says this:
"Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
I'm not sure if that is out of the ordinary though.

I am having the same problem with assigning menu items to a K2 item and then getting a 404 error in the front end. I have my Home page using blank component so that I can just have modules there so I don't know if that is a problem. The items appear in a blog or user page but not where I want them to be. There is no problem with placing a Joomla article under the same item.

Hi. Since there are too many posts, all of you having such issues keep in mind that a K2 item in order to be visible has to be:
1. Published.
2. Not trashed.
3. If it has start and finish publishing dates they need to be checked.
4. In a public access level.
5. In the current language or in "Any" language ( Joomla! 2.5 only ).
6. All the above are also required for the category of the item.
