When creating a new category, page goes blank was created by Steve B.
I'm running Joomla 1.5.26 and the latest version of K2 for 1.5 Installation went fine, and everything seems to work except when I went to make a new category. After hitting the "Save" button on the page to make a category, then page clears to white and nothing else happens. And the category isn't created or saved.
Anyone know what might be wrong?

Hi Steve B,
Is there any error message? Can you click Cancel? Are you running it on localhost?

Yes, I turned error reporting on and am getting the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /.../.../mydomain.com/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 92

This is due to multibyte string support in your server's php config.
In admin area, click Components -> K2 -> Information and see if Multibyte string support is enabled.
See here for more info on multibyte string - www.php.net/mbstring
