Insert menu link into k2 item? was created by Way Liew
I'm looking to insert a menu link into k2 articles so say I have 4 articles in a category, they all have a unique menu at the bottom.

I really like the way you can do it with k2 content modules where you can simply select the menu and it appears at the end of the module. I tried making it an extra field but that seems too complex.

I know you can do it through simply typing out the menu alias but that won't be future proof... and creating a separate module for each seems cumbersome.

Is it possible to simply insert the menu ID somehow?

Thanks.

The separate modules may seem like a pain, but it may be your best bet here.

You CAN do php menus, as many as you want, then add the codes to whatever pages you want the menu to appear. However, that would include some more difficult coding than simply typing in your back content via K2/joomla and you'd always have to have your code where you could find it, since it wouldn't be a pull-down menu in k2, so you'd always have to input it by hand. Unless you're fairly comfortable coding stuff, the modules may really be easier.

Good luck!
