A newbie question... When you create a new user group in K2, all NEW site registrations automatically have access to the new group created in K2. With this system, you can not stop any member from accessing that user group with the same privileges that the group member has - in other words, you can't stop all members from accessing that group.

The only way I can see of resolving this issue would be to create a K2 User Group called "Registered" and have this as the default for all new members, then manually locate a user and reassign them to the new user group you have created. Hope this question makes sense, 'cause I'm confused...
