In Chrome, only the tweet option displays. Not even the icon, just the word 'tweet'. However in IE9, Firefox, & Safari all the social links show up, icons and all.

Its so strange especially that Safari works while Chrome doesn't, since from what I understand they essentially share the same web-kit.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem, well almost.

I see twitter icon, I see Google + but I don't see facebook.
In all browsers.
The code is there but nothing shows in the page.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I have been trying rewrite the css and the item.php file in K2 but no facebook icon in Chrome.

Even in Firefox the icons are not even nor inline.

Any suggestions?

I just found an article regarding DoNotTrackMe plugin for Google Chrome will block the facebook like button. Have not found a work around for this yet, though the DoNotTrack plugin allows the facebook like button in Firefox.

In my case, it was a problem with Avast Antivirus and the feature "block social networks by default"... lok at an green circle in the chrome toolbar with a number of "blocked things"
