Access Restrictions was created by Tom
Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone could offer advice/ point me in the right direction with regards to setting up access permissions for K2 content.

Ideally, I would like 3 scenarios.

1: Public view - simply access to the intro text throughout the site, pre read-more - upon "reading more" then a prompt to register/ request login details.

2. Registered view - gives full access to all content once logged in.

3. Trial access - a time limited (e.g one month account) that gives full access to the site, but then prompts to register upon expiry.

I'm not sure whether K2 can handle this on its own, or an external membership component needs to be used (Mighty Membership is one I have seen).

Many thanks in advance.

If you are going to have lots of members, and need automated subcriptions managment, then that will be the best choice.
If you are doing the members manually, you can override the k2 category view and wrap the readmore in a test for the user and do not display it if not registared. There is not a solution in k2 for the temporary membership as i know of
