When I share a K2 item from our website (h2oforlifeschools.org) on Facebook, I am running into a couple problems. First of all, the post includes a bunch of code (see attachment) like this: "Never, ever give up&quot. It is also adding &nbsp in the intro text.

I also don't have the ability to choose thumbnail images for the post.

Any idea on what I might be doing wrong?

Facebook needs some specific tags which are not included by K2. You should try searching for a plugin doing this.

I have the same issue since I moved my website to joomla 2.5 and using the 2.6 version of k2.

Any idea about what can be done?

This issue has been resolved in K2 2.6.2. If you are still facing the issue then it's probably because of Facebook caching. Try again with a new K2 item.

Thank you - if it's been specifically addressed in the new release I will try doing a complete new install. Upgrading to the latest K2 even on my test site which isn't cached in Facebook didn't help, so perhaps some old code remains when you do an upgrade?
