Delete item from frontend was created by Daniele
Hi everybody,
I need your help to solve a problem that should be quite usual, but I didn't find anything in the forum.
I need each user to be able to delete k2 items that he has created, using the frontend k2 user profile page (blog).
Do you know I could I perform that?
Thanks in advance!

Allowing users to delete their own items on the front end is an essencial feature that has repeatedly been in your forum threads for over 3 years.
Why is this not an available feature yet?
Yes, I am aware that users with publishing capabilities can unpublish their events but as an admin, you don't want items from just any user to publish without admin reviewing them first...
not allowing them to deleting their own items means that improper information can remain online until the users goes to your contact link, emails you to request the delete, and you as admin go into the backend to delete the item. That is just silly.
Please consider giving this request (from several of us) some thought and action.

Hi,
Is it possible to delete the item from front end in the latest version? I do not see the button for that. Is it a permissions issue?
Thanks

Any update on this? The amount of useless unpublsished articles I have on the system is a nightmare. I have 20 content creators who are competent and need the ability to be able to delete items.

Everything that gets published in the frontend should leave a trace in K2.
You should consider giving backend access to these editors by adjusting Joomla's ACL so they have access only to K2 (it's dead simple).
