I'm having this same issue. I'm using version 2.6.8.

• Edit profile menu links are missing.
• K2 user/login module - My account goes to home page (Error loading component: com_user, 1).
• K2 user/login module - New users cannot create an account (404 error).

Plugins enabled

• System K2
• User K2
• User Profile
• User Joomla

K2 Parameters

• Enable K2 User Profile - Yes
• Select default k2 user group - Registered

What's your Joomla! version? If you are under Joomla! 2.5 or later the link should point to com_users and not com_user. Please ensure that you are using the K2 User module ( not the K2 login module which was removed several versions before ) and that you have no overrides to the module.

My developer helped. From what I seen it may have been a small error on my part :oops: .

- A menu item for "Edit User Profile" needed to be created.
- Then in the K2 user module, point Login Redirection URL to that menu item.
