Si han luchado con el truco de quitar las horas y minutos que se muestran en el artículo…

He aquí el truco…
Vallan a esta ruta de la raíz del sitio:

SITIO/administrator/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_k2.j16.ini

SITIO/administrator/ language/en-GB/en-GB.com_k2.j16.ini

Cambien la línea
K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2="l, d F Y H:i"

Que se muestra así: Sábado, 23 Junio 2012 19:14

Por esta otra:
K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2="d \d\e\ F \d\e\ Y"

Resultado: 23 de Junio de 2012
