I have a problem with the search module of K2. I posted an ansewer on the frensh forum but I didn't find a solution.

My search module from K2 is noy displayin the results. In the url adress (not sef), I have this : .../index.php?searchword=livre&categories=137,226,206, 207,208,209,210,211,212,138,144,146,186,187,188,18 9,190,191,192,193,194,195,196,147,165,166,167,168, 169,170,171,172,173,148,149,156,157,158,150,159,16 0,161,162,163,164,151,174,175,176,177,178,179,180, 152,181,182,183,184,185,153,197,228,154,198,199,20 0,155,201,202,203,204,205,227,213,214,215,216,217, 218,219,220,221,223,224,225,222&option=com_k2&view =itemlist&task=search&limitstart=10

...and Joomla is displaying empty results. The pagination exists, with one ore more page according the search, but results lines are empty.

Can you help me (sorry, my english is not good) ? :)

Hi. Try to switch to the default template and see if search works. If so, the issue is in your template.

Did you folowed my advice to try to switch to the default template? Also ensure that you have the latest version of K2.

Yes i did both, and still didn't get my way - made a quick solution though by hacking into the files...my problem now is that my search filtering doesnt work...trying to hack into it tooo...

Hacking the code is not a good idea. You will loose all your changes in case of update. You also need to know what you are doing, otherwise you might set your site security in risk. Regarding the search resutls, are you using K2 Tools module or you are trying to search through Joomla! core search module? Ensure that the "Search - K2" plugin is enabled. Also try to enable System debugging to get any possible errors. Finally i always assume that you are under the latest stable K2 version. We do not provide support to outdated versions.

no no i mean into the sub template ovverides i do very well to stay away from the core of k2 be it components, modules and plugins...and yes sir iam using the latest k2 - and bot k2 tools search and joomla core search...the joomla core search works well it picks up both tag + content words during search (k2 search plugin for extending core funtionality) but the k2 tools search is not working properly it is picking up content words but not tags ... i have just enabled system debug thanks
