Featured items in RSS was created by Alen

Hello everyone, today i was looking my website K2 RSS feed url and i noticed that it doesn't show featured items.

Does anyone know what i must to do so that featured articles show up in RSS feed?

I am using joomla 2.5.6 with k2 2.5.7 and RSS feed URL looks like this

iplayed.com.hr/index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&format=feed&type=rss

Hi. The RSS feed of a category depends on the settings of the category. So if you have setup your category to not show featured items then they will also be hidden from the category feed. One thing you can make about this, is to make a menu link and override the settings. Then applying "format=feed" to the URL should give you a feed with the menu settings.

Hi Lefteris, and thanks for the explanation.

I have this issue as well - RSS does not show K2 featured items. But all my categories are set to show Featured items which is why I'd kindly ask if there could be another solution to this. I have K2 2.5.7 and J2.5.9.

Hello, I have tried it both in J! 3.1 and J! 2.5. I see to be viewing these items. Are you using any other extensions/ components? Also is you site built with a templating framework which manipulates RSS feeds?

Also can you send me a link please?

This is not the feed of a category or a menu item so it won't have any settings. Try getting the feed of a menu item instead.
