I have installed K2 onto my Joomla site. I want to add tags to articles but for reasons relating to automation I can not press the enter key after each tag, is there any other way to add tags? The comma thing isn't working for me..

Not sure what version joomla/k2 you're using, but try this:
1. go to components -> k2
2. click "parameters" in upper right-ish corner
3. click on the "advanced" tab
4. next to "Tagging system" choose "Selection-based tagging"

now when you add/edit an article, you'll have your tags listed and can just highlight them & click the "Add >>" to make them work with that article. Note: this only works with k2 articles/items.
