Hi. You cannot. You need to be a programmer and write a PHP script for doing this.

That is a serious issue.
when i choose an image size for a category or in the general settings, I must be sure about my page dasign and layout...
As a designer, I never sure exactly how it will be, I want the ability to change a bit the image size, even though I work with grid system.
suppose i want to have 2 or more columns, a php code then makes a mathematic division of 100/ num-of-columns... but does not leave me space for margins... so i add a -5 for this math and use it a 5% margin right, but the images, I've measured them without the -5%...
so i need to regenerate them all.
there was a thread for a workaround but it was on the previous forum: (this url shows the old forum link that is no longer available... can you post it for me?

Really you think this is an issue? K2 generates 6 different image sizes depending on the settings. So even if you need to change a 5% of the size you can do it using CSS. Just select the size that is more near to the desired one and then apply the styles.

So i will use only on size image and spare the 5 sizes images generation and use css to set size...
They must be png to look ok
Why dont you just make a use of the original image as large(popup anyway...) and really cach the other sizes just like in SIG?
Though sig and k2 have also an issue together

We do store the original image. But we use the sizes in order to give the user the ability to manipulate this when he is building his site.

Of course it is an issue.
What possible reason or purpose could there be for storing thumbs in a width that you already changed in the system?
You are basically saying that the setting is only there for image that you will upload after you change the setting.
