Hi,

I'm allowing frontend users to create their own articles.

I have created sub-categories for them to write artciles in.

But how do I make the main categories in active so they cannot put an article there?

Example:-

Main
-- Sub1
-- Sub2

I want them to be able to put articles in Sub1 and Sub2 but not Main.

I would try creating a k2 user group for them and giving it access to the two sub categories not the top level category
