Does anyone know if K2_v2.5.7 is compatible and works with Joomla 3.0 Alpha1?

Hi. We have not tested this yet, but since Joomla! 3.0 is Joomla! 2.5 plus bootstrap it should work or at least have very few issues.

Thanks, the issue I am having is that it seems like the main menu will not load. it opens to a blank page.

If there is anything you can suggest I would greatly appreciate it, or is this something I just need to wait for the K2 dev folks to work thru?

Unfortunatelly Joomla! 3.0 is in alpha version so there is nothing i can recommend. Also keep in mind that building a production site in Joomla! 3.0 is not a good idea.

When will there be support for Joomla 3.0?

I cannot tell for sure. We are currently working on Joomla! 3.0 compatibility. You can try downloading the K2 2.6.0 Beta version at getk2.org/assets/svn/ and report any bugs that occur.

The good parts of bootstrap are most definitely not built into Joomla 3.0. If they are, you sure can't use basic bootstrap syntax to do stuff... I copied over lots of interfaces thinking just that after multiple nightmares on Joomla 2.5 + bootstrap including templates that claim k2 compatibility and found that although K2 works and looks great on Joomla 3.0, once you load bootstrap, it's all over. Same old floating edit windows, non-functional buttons in modals etc.
