Hi. I try to remove the information E-mail from "Author Information", but I have not sucess. I change the file:

Components > com_k2 > views > author > tmpl > default.php

And change in the line 45 remove the code:



But not change, the E-mail is in the Author Information. How I can do?

First of all, I would recommend that you change the file back so that you do not introduce any errors in the system.

To remove the e-mail should be done like this:

In the K2 component in Joomla, if you want articles from all categories displayed the same way, you could set them all to inherit parameters from one of the categories. In this category, go to the settings for item view. You should find a setting there called "Show author e-mail". Set this one to No.

Hi, Thanks for responding my question. But unfortunately I don't see this option "Show autor e-mail". The only option about this that I see was "Show Author block". But I want to show the Author block... without e-mail!

I guess the first question I should have asked is what version of Joomla and what version of K2 are you using?
