Enable HTML Extra Field was created by Simone Giacometti
I am trying to add some code in a text area type field that I created in Extra Fields. Unfortunately it removes the code every time I click apply. I was wondering if there was a way around this.
The code that I am adding is to display a Google calendar.

The J sourcer or sourcerer isn't the right way to do it (to implement formatted stuff, etc). Imagine a client updating a field using HTML code in a text field.
Don't you agree with me that it would not work? Too hard to update.. sorry. We need a real solution for our clients. A Text Editor(WYSIWYG) Field is the way.
Keep the good work team.

this is a great idea - am definitely interested in using the extra fields in a robust format - some of the documents we produce have ~5 lists with 4-5 hyperlinks in each as well as text associated with each - any thoughts?

It shouldn't be a text field because it shouldn't be not an option for visitor since visitros can add malicious code. It is for an administrator to add non-standard things on the page such as Google calendar iframe or a link to Simple Image Gallery. There should be the option for adding non-formatted input field or maybe simply enable administrators to add html code.

I need HTML to work in the extra fields as well.
At the moment not only does it strip out HTML, but it doesn't even honour line-breaks.
Allowing HTML in the textarea field would really add a lot to K2; Can someone on the dev team please chime in to at least say whether it is likely to go into the next release.
Thanks
