I was using the 1.0.2b version of K2 and just uninstalled it and installed the new version 2.0.0 Build 20090701 (pre-release). I added a category, added an item and then tried to view the front page and got the following error:

Warning: require_once(/var/www/sites/xxx/components/com_k2/controllers/default.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/sites/xxx/components/com_k2/k2.php on line 40

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/var/www/sites/xxx/components/com_k2/controllers/default.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/sites/xxx/components/com_k2/k2.php on line 40

Any ideas?

Nevermind... I just had to update the main menu item and that fixed it. It might be helpful for someone to write installation instructions.... I know... they are probably coming soon ;)
