Is it possible to add an option in the component parameters to have the Print link go to the printable view in a new window, instead of a lightbox? I can see how some people might like the lightbox effect but to me, it seems a little confusing to have it pop up in a lightbox and then have to click the same Print link inside the lightbox that you already clicked.

I agree, but for a different reason.

For me lightboxes and all other mootools effects on the frontend are a problem. I have a number of corporate clients whose networks disallow mootools causing this action to fail. So an option to use or not use mootools would be great.
