Just wondering how you are mean't to know when a new comment has been submitted for approval. Can you specify an email address to send approval notifications to so they just don't sit in the list untill someone remembers to check.

Can anyone answer this question for me? surely there is (or will be) a system to notify someone of a new comment?

I've looked around for this as well and couldn't find it.

So do I! I would like to be informed when (and where) a new comment is posted. And I would like the people who have commented to get an e-mail message when a new comment is posted after their own.

Building a website for healthcare issues in USA. We would like to use comment approvals (which has been set ok), but we are missing notifications. It could be a setting I am not seeing, but after 5 years of Mambo/Joomla usage and now a full day of working with K2, I often find the settings I need. Not this one.

If anyone knows how to get Comment Approval notifications, that would be great.

I can see K2 is slowly becoming quite an excellent app.

I too would like to see the comments notification fixed as well. I would guess the work is being done, though some developer feedback would be nice ( is there a different place for this perhaps ? ).

As a matter of urgency or priority, that makes fixes for SIG function, pagebreak for long articles ( not readmore ), and comments notification all jostling for front position....

I realise it's an open source app - but it does get frustrating and stressed upon when an app such as this starts being used in a live, commercial / client situation, and there are still important functions that need attention. Unfair in a way...

Do we need to start a support fund to accelerate the fixes perhaps ? Would that help things along ?
