SIG thumbnails not appearing on item page - but actual slide show images function fine in most pop up engine modes.

When trying to edit items with an image gallery feature - the item tabs (image - image gallery - video - extra fields - attachments - plugins) are not accessible/clickable and fail to open.

SIG Pro version 2.04. The plugin is enabled and the root folder path is set to /media/k2/galleries

items without SIG are fully editable.

Any one else experiencing this?

Hi. Try to set your SIG engine to mootools. This will fix the problem.

Hi Lefteris, thanks, that has partly solved the problem. I can now edit existing pages.
The thumbnails though still do not display in either the front end or the back end.

By way as feedback, as far as mootools goes - the multibox option displays the full image but no thumbs. The slimbox option shows thumb placeholders and no main image.

Also, for your info - thumb display options - when using the SIG single image option to launch the slideshow, the default item page layout breaks with the image placeholder positioned over the similar category info and the comments section.

Hi. I can only reproduce the "single image" option bug. I was not able to reproduce the other problems you mentioned. Can you please post some more info? I tried both mootools engines and worked fine.

I've recreated the site on live server (not production server) and thumbs problem is eliminated. Haven't figured out why yet.
Will test the different engines to see if other 'bugs' disappear.

FYI: Production server set up using WAMP2.

Getting some odd behaviour with the photo gallery.
One gallery works faultlessly, the second gallery thumbs will not display. Settings are identical.

Second problem is image download - the save image links return following error:
Sorry, download unavailable or wrong file path set!

Hi. Try to use safe names for your image files. Rename all images in English and don't use spaces or other special characters in their names. Then create the zip and upload it again through K2.

I'll give it a go. Meanwhile can you look at this image file K2 page Heading and tell me IF it is possible to get rid of the default page title - it's really bugging me!

Hi, have used safe names successfully to display both the gallery and the thumbnails.

But...
Deleting the image gallery and then re-uploading it highlighted a problem - the images were deleted using the checkbox under image gallery, the new archive was then uploaded, (it seems that upload and delete will not work concurrently) - but when the new gallery was created, it became nested inside the original folder - gallery/2/2/ and hence the gallery would not display in the browser.

I ended up manually deleting the image gallery folder from the server using FTP client.

The issue with downloading images remains - i still receive the incorrect path message.

Hi. Yes the merge of files is possible so you have to first delete the current gallery ( using the checkbox ) and after that upload the new. As for the download link probably is an issue of SIG and not K2. We are working on such issues. Thanks for reporting.

ok.. so let me see if i understand this. i have k2, and sigpro installed. I have created and have been able to display an item in k2 from a menu item. I see that you can create image galleries from archives but can you also just use the {gallery},{/gallery} tags? It doesn't seem to work on my site.

also, is it possible to change the 2meg upload size?

Hi. Yes that's how it should work but there was an issue when using both methods. This has already been fixed for v2 final. Regarding the upload size, it is a server setting you cannot change it through Joomla.
