Does K2 Work with Front Page Slide Show was created by Mark Orciuoli

I would like to know if K2 works with Front Page Slide Show. I am currently using rokstories from RocketTheme which does have the capabilities to rotate K2 articles. Doe Front Page Slide Show also do this as well. Thank you - chules

Hi Mark,

Pretty sure that FPSS does not work in it's current version. I remember seeing a post that it will in ver 2.5 of FPSS.

For now I've been entering the intro into the custom text area of FPSS and pasting the URL from the title of an article.

Wow, the team at RocketTheme seems to be leading the charge with K2 modules. Most of their modules like RokStories, NewsPager, etc all work with K2. It would be great to see some more integration especially with FPSS.

Fotis and the Joomlaworks Team is looking to add an intergrated FPSS feature to k2 via the plugins. Last I heard in June is that they were half way there.

Looks like mid October - after the German Joomla! presenations. ;-)

For now RocketThemes Rokstories works though the display configuration options are not as flexible as FPSS.

I too am currently using K2 + rockettheme rokstories (after hacking it a bit) and would like to replace this with K2 + FPSS.
Currenltly I have to embed the images directly in the content items to get it to work but I would like to be able to have slides that can work with K2 images / image galleries.

Its December now, so hows the new FPSS version that supports K2 coming along ?

I will *definitely* buy it when it arrives if it can support K2 images / image galleries, but for now am stuck rokstories,
which is a poor substitute.

Hello,

K2.2 is out and still no FPSS plugin or the new 2.5 version.

I think the release policy is: "It will be ready when its ready!"
No need for speculating about release dates.
