I have just installed and started using the K2 component. Since I cannot find any proper documentation online, I would like to ask information about the extra fields of the K2 component.

Actually, I cannot understand how can extra fields be used. What is the purpose of this component of K2 and what can someone do with it.

I have the same question. I have created an extra field drop-down selection but I can not see the way of making it work. Any help is welcome. Thanks

Here's and example

first, create a category called "concert events"

second, create an extra field group. ie: events fields

third, create fields for that group: date, location, website link

fourth, go to category and assign "event fields" to the "concert events" category

last, create a concert event item, extra fields tab, fill in the; date, location, website link
