and all is set correct:

Web Server: Apache/2.2.11 (Ubuntu) PHP/5.2.6-3ubuntu4.1 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8g

I've created a new test user and checked all times recorded:

1.) If user registers for the site at 09:00am
a) Joomla records it at 08:00am (1 hour earlier)
b) Agora is recording it at 01:00pm (4 hours later)
c) k2 records it at 08:00am (1 hour earlier)
d) Agora records Last Visit as Dec-31-69 19:00:00 (no mater when last visit occurred)
e) K2 does not record Joomla! Group

does anyone have an idea what the issue might be?
I will be posting this in the joomla forums as well as agora
