I have set up an item on a menu and set it to be "K2 » Itemlist / Category". This means you can choose to see an equivalent "Blog Loyout" listing items from chosen categories. I have 6 specified categories and I only want to see items from only 4 of them. What ever I change the value to (1 category or 6) it always shows all the items from all categories.

Has anyone else come across this? Any and all help would be very appreciated.

Let me see if I understand correctly... your site has a total of 6 categories and you're trying to create a menu link that shows items from 4 of them but instead it shows items from all 6? Is that what you're saying?

That certainly sounds weird. You're sure that the menu item is published and you're going to the published link?

You have understood the problem exactly. And yes the menu item is published, its the home page. I thought it may be a problem other people had found. Obviously not. Let me know if you have any more ideas.

I actually just had this happen to me when I trashed some categories that a menu link used to include. That link started showing all categories. When I restored the trashed categories, it started showing only the selected categories again. No idea why this would happen but in case it's helpful to know...

Same with me. I don't have anything in my trash, so that tip wasn't applicable.

I upgraded to v. 2.1 and it seems to have fixed the problem.
