I think it would be cool to add parameters like (in the edit module) enable/disable the Root (first item) and or the last Item (current).

For example: I have Section / Category / Article and it hiding the last part > Section / Category / or Section / Category (now without the last separator).

Another feauture would be to hide or change the text You are here: that comes before the breadcrumb.

People, any other ideas?

I have to agree, having both the root and the final category displayed in the breadcrumbs in cumbersome and unnecessary. I really want to hide the root from mine specifically. If there is anyway to do this before I try diving into the code, please let me know.

I had to edit the k2 breadcrumbs code to do what I wanted.
So you might dive in the code just as me.
