I've been playing with K2 for a few hours and it seems brilliant.

I can't however seem to work out if there is an advanced search module / api / capability...?

It would be beautiful if it were possible to have for example a directory of people and then have an advanced search with:

Search by Name String
Search by Age Integer
Search by Interested in Fish Boolean
Search by Country String List

IS this going to be considered at any point, is it already possible but I'm being a n00b?

Search works really well on my installation of K2.

All I did was make sure the K2 search plugin (which installs automatically) was enabled and then Joomla's regular search function works perfectly.

In fact when paired together with RocketThemes ajaxsearch module its a pretty sweet combination. When you enter an "item" into K2 it adds all the text strings to a "extra field search" field and then uses that against the regular Joomla search to catch pretty much any information you entered.

That said, some of your search requests may require some custom hacking to do... not sure how the "Age" search would work.
