K2 with JCE Editor was created by GreenDome
I'm using JCE editor and K2, when adding a new item (front-end) i add intro text and then press the 'read more' button, the Ajax window refreshes and goes to the homepage with in the Ajax window so i cant add the full text.
Has anyone else had a similar issue or know why this is happening?
Thank you in advance

I had the same problem, and it's a JCE error. If you download this file and replace the editor.js file in plugins/editors/jce/libraries/js/, the read more button will then appear in the JCE toolbar and the Joomla one should also work then. I prefer to use the JCE one.

Just download the latest JCE, it's in the new distribution.
