After I installed K2 - the front page went blank. It's just white, and no source code either. All other pages still shows, but not the front page.

It seems to be an RocketTheme issue, since when I switch over to another template, everything works fine.

Has anyone had the same experience?

Sounds like a module you load on the frontpage that is giving you problems. RT has some nice sliding modules, try disabling them and see if that helps.
RT also includes options in the template to use fewer Javascript. Did you try to disable some functions (Extensions -> Templates -> RT Affinity -> Enable JS Compatibility (switch to Yes).

I am using RockTheme's Hyperion with K2 and It is working great. I am occasionally getting blank white pages, but it is my ISP that is causing the problem, not the template. When I reboot my router it works again, and on an alternative ISP it also works fine. Could it be a coincidence that your are experiencing the white pages right after installing K2?

Sorry is in k2.css file for K2 in path "ROOT/components/com_k2/css/k2.css".
