I have the following set up:

Category A
--->Sub Category A (6)
--->Sub Category B (3)
--->Sub Category C (4)

When i add a new Sub Category B2 to Sub Category B, then item counters for both Sub Category B and Sub Category C are updated. Sub Category B2 has two items so the item counter for Sub Category B and C show (5) and (6) but why is Sub Category C item being updated when the Sub Category B2 is only added under Sub Category B.

Also when I go into Sub Category C, the item counter goes back to (4) - which is the correct number.

Any ideas?

The item counter issue is on the component and on the front-end.

I have this issue also K2 v2.2 and Joomla V1.5.15.
