I have quite some big files that I like to attach for a download repository. As those files are to big for any HTTP upload I need to upload them via FTP to the server.

Now within the attachment UI I can not add them from a local (server) path. Would be a nice feature I think.

Is this already implemented? I have the same problem, and it is very annoying to upload the files (instead of taking them from the server/url).
