Just uses the "Module any where", from www.nonumber.nl/modulesanywhere

It works with some modules while not with others..
Try it

Hi. The {loadposition xxxx} works fine in K2 items. Just make sure that the position you are loading has not a K2 content module as this might lead to infinite loop. Now more specific for FPSS do you get any error?

Lefteris

Thank you for your reply, let me clarify exactly what I have setup and perhaps you can pinpoint the problem.
I created a copy of FPSS module called FPS, built the category, all the slides and set the Category ID into the module params. Reading in J.org about loadposition I realized that I could 'create' a position, so I set the position in the module to a non-existant position called nup.

If you look at What you see on the All About Us page is a standard joomla article which executes FPS simply by me typing in {loadposition nup}

If you select Next Up menu, you will see a K2 category with one item, and the first line is {loadposition nup} - and no error messages, simply nothing is displayed.

So.. the nup position does not have K2 content item because it does not exist, and in fact I do not even have K2 Content enabled (but understand your point).

Hope that is clearer and helps you pinpoint where I am going wrong.

Thanks

george

Followeyes

I was a little suspicious that you had a module which replaced loadposition.... however the forum looks pretty active.
I downloaded the component but it did not work. I will test further in another website and feedbac my comments.

My apologies to everyone

Look at rteeples post

not sure why the url isnt being displayed - forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=428&p=1253382

The module needs to be set to ALL OR the relevent section, works just fine.
