Hello

I'm not sure this issue is directly K2 related or a core Joonla thing, but It's probably been bothering a lot of K2 users, so I hope i'll find my asnwer here.

When users add a new Item they get a lot of fields they need to fill, that might confuse the average user, such as the "featured" field, "published or not" field, baiscally all the fields on the right panel besides the category field I suppose.

Is there a way to remove them?

I've been looking for an answer to this for a while now, and could'nt find anything besides this post on the joomla site:

which did'nt help me much because it's for Joonla 1.0, and I'm working on 1.5, and the files don't resemble. It may also be because K2 uses different files.

well have a look at the form view and you will be able to do the adjustments as you see fit
