Hi!
I decided to use K2 after I've seen this screenshot:

I was looking for a news-componente to list news like in the middle part of that image (under "K2 Latest Items from Tech News & Travel"):
I want a small image on the left and the intro-text on the right.

Where can I find that template?
I'm not that good to write it myself with css or similar.

In the backend in cathegory-parameters you can choose "catalogue mode" yes or no.
I thought maybe that is the answer to my question but I don't see any layout differences.

The Template is the Standard K2 Template and the answer of your question ( third or fourth time in this forum) is :
Use this :

In the style.css search the div-Tag called

div.catItemImageBlock

put in :
{float:left;}

... and the text is right of the pic.
