I've set my category to HIDE the author. I made my item in that category and had it use all the category parameters. Why is the author still showing on the item article?

Go to your module and disable the author info there and that should work....

Even if you have disabled the info in the category it still shows up if it is enabled in the module...perhaps another bug :-)

I think I found where it was still enabled... and it made sense - so I wouldn't call it a bug! But it was strangely hard to find. Just a learning curve thing, I guess. :) The only thing I'm still really struggling with now is the Image Gallery problem of displaying the thumbs! Ugh!!!!!! If I could fix that, K2 would be a lifesaver.
