Hi
My k2 ver 2.1 and joomla 1.5.14, When I put any number in introtext word limit (under Item view options in category listings), then image in intro text is not showing. If I don't put any word limit then itro text with image is showing correctly.
I am not sure is it bug or am I missing something in setting.
Please help me
Thanking you

Hi. When you apply a word limit the HTML tags are removed to avoid tags that will remain unclosed as when we are counting the words we can't know if we are counting content or HTML code.

Hi
Thank you for your reply. Still I am fail to understand , is functionality behaviour is correct or not correct? What is the solution to use word limit functionality so I will get image displayed.

Hi. That's why K2 provides a separate field for image and gallery. If K2 apply word limit without striping the HTML tags it could result to a completely broken page. This may produce inappropriate closed tags.

Hi
Thank you for your reply but still my basic question is not answered. As I understand from your reply that I can't place inline images with word limit functionality.

It is the way K2 works. It strips out certain tags from the intro text. you would need to edit this functionality with code if you want to change it as far as I know.

Oh, this is very sad! There is a module called 'minifrontpage' it seems that if you can do that to show the image. Hopefully in the future resolution of this fails, it would be great
