Looks like There is a bug in my template or in K2 when used with Joomla built in SEF and Simple image rotator. The SIR works fine all all the other pages, on K2 Content the the SIR show all images.

Referencing a K2 Category works fine

Click on an article and it breaks

Any ideas what might be the issue?

One more thing. SIR work fine when linking to an Item/Article from a menu item.

Turns out after stepping a way form this and rethinking it there was actually a problem with SIR and not k2 information found here on Joomlaworks forum
