Whilst it's nice to be able to map existing Joomla content to K2. What would be nice in terms of building catalogs etc would be to be able to import from Excel/CSV, and create extra fields on the fly. For instance, if you have a teeshirt catalog, you could import the names/descriptions and then have columns for size/colour, which you could map to fields in K2.

What are the chances of seeing something like this?

I have been wanting to use JReviews for this very reason only. It is a must-have to be able to map fields to CSVs and to be able to import them. Especially if one commits to this in a big way (keying in 25,000 entries seems ridiculous, and shouldn't be that hard for some smart programmer to figure out, I'd imagine).

I'm also interested in this. It could be a killer, deal breaker feature. Has anyone picked up on this, free or commercial?
