Hi,

why are non-registered users (e.g. spambots) allowed to post comments on articles?
And how can I disable it?
I do not want a captcha or whatever. Just disable the comment function for non registeres users

It's built into the component. Go to Parameters->Comments and change the setting to allow only Registered Users to comment.
